Best Curtains for Villas in Dammam
How to plan curtains room by room in a Dammam villa — light, heat, privacy and a scheme that holds together.

Start with orientation, not fabric
In Dammam the difference between a north window and a west window is significant. West and south-west glazing takes direct afternoon sun and carries the most heat, so those windows benefit from a lined or blackout layer. North-facing rooms can often be dressed in sheers alone and stay comfortable.
Walk the villa at two times of day before deciding anything. The rooms that feel harsh at 4pm are the rooms that need the heavier specification.
A room-by-room baseline
Majlis: layered sheer with a heavier drape, full height, for presence and daytime flexibility. Living room: wave curtains on a concealed track keep the architecture clean. Bedrooms: sheer plus blackout on a double track. Kitchens and bathrooms: roller blinds, easier to wipe and unaffected by moisture. Stairwell glazing: motorized, because nobody wants to reach that window twice a day.
Keep one palette across the villa
The most common mistake in a full villa is treating each room as a separate project. Choose two or three neutral tones — for example ivory, sand and charcoal — and vary the weight and texture rather than the colour family. The house then reads as one design instead of six.
