Curtain Measurement Guide
What we check during a site visit, and how to take a rough measurement yourself for an initial quote.
For a quick quote
Measure the window width and the height from your intended track position down to the floor, then send both numbers with a photo of the whole wall on WhatsApp. That is enough for an indicative price. Final production always uses our own on-site measurement.
What we check on site
Ceiling height and recess depth, whether the wall can carry a bracket, AC outlets and cornices near the track line, floor level across the opening, socket positions if the curtain will be motorized, and how much wall you have on each side for the curtain to stack.
Common measurement mistakes
Measuring the glass instead of the finished track line, forgetting the side returns, ignoring a sloping floor, and assuming both sides of a wide window are the same height. We check each opening at three points for exactly this reason.
